I found this skirt on a quite dirty fleamarket this summer. It was hiding in between two lumpy dresses and at first i didn't even see it. But then I noticed the buttons. You know, the buttons go all the way from the ground up to the waist. It's an amazing skirt!
For some reason I haven't used it until I found it again in my wardrobe a few days ago. Now I don't want to wear anything else. Today I have forced myself to have trousers on instead so that I won't get to wear a skirt at all and not long for THE skirt when I'm wearing another one. Yeah, I'm crazy. But I don't want all my other skirts to feel bad!
Hm.
End of crazy talk.
Let's go out in this grey weather!
This past weekend was a hectic but fun one. The theatre group I'm part of had two days packed with rehearsals, light fixing and planning. It's getting real close now! Only 6 days until our premiere!
Here is some photos taken by David during our rehearsals yesterday. And yes, I'm the evil looking woman in a black wig, if you didn't recognise me...

Today was my Autumn Hat Premiere.
David chose some (not so) holy light on his scalp instead.
On our last day at the backpacker place David and I went for an evening walk with our cameras. We had a plan to get some photos of us under the amazing mountains. A memory, sort of.
I set out to position the camera in a tree and find the perfect view for us to be captured in...
First attempt... not so good. Unless half a David was what we were going for, then it would have been perfect.
Now it's starting to look like something!
Just hanging, us and the mountains.
Lotta Heart David.
A kiss was appropriate.
Grab grab...
The sun was setting behind us.
Look at the sun setting in a little bowl on top of the mountain...
I collected some sun flares.
And we started to head back to our little house through the vegetation.
We were suddenly face to face with a white horse.
I think I gasped out loud here, the view was just perfect. I held my breath and took as many photos I could before the horse turned around and walked away. We followed.
And was greeted by a whole bunch of horses standing there in the gorgeous evening light.
What a perfect memory it turned out to be, this last little walk under the blue mountains.
I love how you found this skirt hiding. It was calling you to take it home. I love the versatility of a black skirt. You wear this one well.... and with style. Have fun.
Thank you Barbara! Yes, I think it was calling my name. :-) I love to find those special pieces that I can wear for years and years.
