This morning David and I went on a little adventure. We were searching for a filming location and had quite a few criterias to pay mind to. I won't tell you all of them but it had to be a railroad track far away from cars, roads and houses.
We started off at a place close to where I used to work some years ago because I thought I remembered the perfect spot for the scene we have in mind.
I came straight from a night at work and hadn't really thought about bringing my camera so all of these photos are taken with my iphone.
We walked along the tracks and found a crossing.
Testing, testing.
Nope, not good enough.
We stood there pondering for a while and then we went back to the car to drive a bit further along the tracks.
This house was on the next, not perfect, stop. Love the grey and sad feel of this place. Who would want to play hoops there? Not me, anyway. But I don't like sports at all so maybe I'm not the right person to ask.
Then we had an idea! Jonsered! It's a small town just outside of Gothenburg and it's so so beautiful there. I think it's one of my favourite places in autumn. You will understand why soon.
Perfect autumn bridge.
Aaaah, the colours!
Man on the roof.
AND LOOK AT THIS!
This place has all the stuff I love to photograph in one spot. The autumn leaves, the bridge, the old industrial waterfall thingies with rust on.
Jonsered used to be a thriving town with lots of factories. Now it's very quiet but they still have use of their many waterfalls producing power.
We found the tracks right next to the beautiful lake but they were above ground! Oh no!
Turned around to walk back.
And then we almost walked past it!
It's perfect! Look how David's pointing. That's happy pointing!
Such a great feeling to have found the location we were looking for. We almost gave up there for a moment.
I was really happy to have gotten a nice autumn walk as well and my phone battery was blinking like crazy so it was high time to go back home.
A Lotta without any type of camera is not a happy Lotta.
Wise words, my friends.
I'll end this post with a photo of a shy mountain holding in it's stomach for the stretched out arms of a curious, cuddly tree.

Hi there!
So I've got a lot of new readers the last few days! Hello hello to you all!
It's been kind of crazy to see the follower number on my facebook page go from 200 to 340 in just two days. I have To sew with love to thank for that. If you pop over there you can join the big Fashionista giveaway and win a statment necklace from my Irregular Pieces collection worth $54.

I have been recovering from a nasty cold these last days and have not been far from my couch long parts of the day. I'm feeling a lot better now and hopefully I'll soon be enjoying lots of nice walks in the beautiful atumn we have now.
Well, I had a point with this post, I really did.
A few days ago (before the dreadful cold happened) I went to my job feeling especially fancy. Some days are just good like that, right?
I wore my favourite hunter green hat, the velvet jacket I bought on a fleamarket in London ten years ago, my all time favourite shoes and PANTS! I think I've been wearing pants more these last two months than I have in my entire adult life. But the best part of my look that day was the bag. Have I told you about this bag? When my mom was a little girl, in the 50's, she used to have this as a school bag. When I was a kid I fell in love with it the moment I saw it and I remember how happy I was when my mom told me that I could bring it to school one day. She told me to be careful with it and I promised. It was a very proud moment fo me when I walked on to the school yard with the shiny black bag in my hand.
But I was not like all the kids in my class. With my red hair and freckles I was an easy target for bullying and on top of that I wore things that I thought was pretty but wasn't really fashionable. So the kids at my school laughed at my mothers bag. They said it was ugly and stupid and I really couldn't understan why. It was the prettiest bag I've seen!
When I got home from school that day I looked at the bag and decided that I didn't care what the other kids said. I loved it and I was the one who should be using it so if the stupid kids at my school didn't realise how awesome it was it was their loss.
The next day when I was walking to school I swung the bag extra high and smiled hugely at their faces.
Sometimes I wonder where I found all that strength when I was only 9 years old. Standing up for what I liked. I just didn't understand how all the other children at the school cold have such bad taste.

Today everybody I meet want's my little black shiny school bag. But they can't have it. It's mine.

In South Africa I fell totally in love with the willow seed pods lying around everywhere on the ground. They look fragile but are surprisingly sturdy and the shape of them are simply beautiful.
Immediately my brain started to transform it into a jewelry idea. I love the structural feel to it and even though it's quite simplistic it looks very intriguing.
When I got home I started working on my idea. I was pondering hard on how to make this work. I wanted it to be made by only one long wire, as most of my jewelry are. It took some time and some really bad solutions but then all of a sudden, in the middle of rinsing my hair in the shower, I had it! I didn't even give myself time to dry completely before I got to work. When you get it there is no time for anything else!
And here is the result.
The Willow Necklace Pendant.
All of these Willow Pendants will soon be listed in my shop.

What do you say? Perfect autumn accessory, right!?

Hello!
So, the weekend was a total success! Our play went really well and everybody seemed to love it. Such an amazing feeling to know that we made this entire thing all by ourselves.
Feels sad that it's already over but this was just the beginning for Teater Esther. We will definitely be back!

Now starts a completely different project for me.
David and I have been writing on a screenplay for a drama comedy about three girls with different kinds of diagnoses who go on a road trip and get to know eachother better than they probably would like to.

We will be filming at the end of this month so it really is lots to do now. So exciting!

You can like our page on facebook if you want to. It is in swedish but we would love to feel your support wherever you are from! And we will post lots of photos of the progress.

Wiiiiii!!!
The leading roles of the movie are going to be played by Hanna Johansson, Lovisa Perman and me.
