I took a peek in my phone today and realised that lately I've been taking photos of my home, my food and myself. I don't really now what that means. Maybe that I haven't really been doing anything except eating, getting dressed and looking around my apartment.
Not really true, but lets say it was and take a look at my iPhone photos from the last month with a focus on food, home and my clothes.

Home:
It's been some work in front of the computer. I still haven't shown you all the photos from South Africa (they were SO MANY) and I've been editing lots of them lately. Tea and physalis and some great music is great company. Here's the playlist I've been listening to nonstop lately: Möta våren med språng.
One evening the sun sent it's rays through our livingroom and landed on the paintings made by my grandfather.
Bedroom detail: Hats, jewelry boxes, "Lady with grapes" (I inherited it from my grandmother when she died a long time ago. It used to hang over her bed and I loved it when I was a little girl. I thought the grape lady was so sweet and even though I know it's not worth anything money wise I still love it. And she is one pretty grape lady, can't really argue with that.)
Bedroom window in evening light. I love the light through the blinds at that time in the evening. The stuffed animals don't usually hang out in the window but I'm thinking it looks kind of sweet. Maybe a bit like a kids room but I don't care. I'm a kid. Yes, I am.

Food:
Afternoon snacks. Physalis and Halva.
Lunch: Ruccola, avocado, beet roots, goat cheese, walnuts. (salt and pepper)
The. Best. Lunch. Ever.
Breakfast the day after: Home made bread made of a gazillion different kinds of flour and seeds, apricots and lingonberry. On top of it: Ruccola, cold left over beet roots and goat cheese.
SO GOOD!
Last sunday at work I made cauliflower and broccoli soup and baked Ett Fantastiskt Bröd (A Fantastic Bread). It is what it's called. Truly fantastic. Sorry for the sideways photo. It's called art. Or somehing (cough! LAZY! cough!).
Yes! Fantastic, I tell you!
It was appreciated by everybody at work. I love baking bread for people!

Clothes:
It was winter and I bought a winter coat in LA. Came home to a Sweden perfect for my new coat. Brrr!
Then the sun came! I celebrated with yellow legs and a hat.
Last week all these arrived! I have been waiting a couple of weeks for this load of socks and tights from We Love Colors to reach my mailbox.
This spring is going to be my most vibrant ever, it's a promise!
With my new tights came spring.
Minty legs, vintage velvet jacket and a mini skirt that blew up Marilyn Monroe style when I walked to work.
My favourite vintage shoes!
One day I decided what to wear after I've chosen the socks. So I was all black with yellow pops of color in socks and accesories.
Actually I almost always decide tights or socks before I choose the rest of my outfit. It's the most important piece of clothing, you know!
Wearing my cheeky grin and scarf from the lovely etsy shop Shovava.
Olive green legs, sun glasses and a jacket I bought in Prague a few years ago. I love this jacket but it's really poor quality, the lining ripped the first time I wore it.
And yesterday!
I look a little bit like a leprechaun here. A very stylish leprechaun though.
I was on my way to meet up with some friends for food and wine. It was a really nice evening even though it was so windy that we had to sit inside. I want to sit outside, in the sun and watch the boats drift by! Sooooooooon!

Bonus picture (Proof that I've been doing things except eat, get dressed and look around my apartment.)
Pirates or Spring cleaning?
Hello dear friends and readers!
It's been a while since I've been this productive in my jewelry making. I think it's because spring is FINALLY here and I get so inspired, and all I want to do is catch bright light and colour combinations and turn them into pretty things. So that's what I've been doing.
And I've been watching the whole first season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer at the same time. I have to confess; I've had a serious gap in my nerddom. It feels like everybody (including myself) has been horrified to hear that I've never really watched Buffy and since I am a proud member of Geek Women Unite on facebook I actually have been feeling really bad about this lack of pop culture knowledge.
Time for that to change!
It turns out that Buffy is the perfect companion to jewelry making and tea drinking so that's what I've been doing lately.
Today I added five new items to my etsy shop. What do you think? Aren't they the perfect accessories for spring!
Hey everybody!
As you probably know I really love to buy old photos and postcards and I found some lovely ones in USA when we were there.
Here's three photographs I found in two different vintage/antique shops.
I'm so curious about these people. I wonder who they were and what kind of things they loved, hated, dreamt of.
This couple is very intersting to me. At first I thought it was two boys but I'm not so sure anymore. They look sort of scared and like they don't know what's happening. They probably weren't too used to having their photo taken but it seems to be something more, don't you think?
I don't think they are related because their faces look so different. Maybe they are friends, but the way they link their arms is so unpersonal and stiff it feels like they've been told to stand like that.
I can't stop looking at them. I wish there was a way to know more but on the other hand that's what makes it such a lovely mystery.
They will be living with me now and I'll make up a story for them, little by little until I have their whole life stories clear in my mind.
Look at this beautiful woman! She's so graceful and pretty. She looks a bit asian, don't you think? I love how she's posing with one hand behind her back, looking so serious. Her face is almost doll like.
I think it's interesting that she's wearing glasses as well. I just realised I don't think I've seen many photos of women with glasses from this time period. By the look of the house I'm guessing she was fairly rich and that might explain the glasses.
She makes me want to write a book based only of this photo.
And the last photo. Such a serious couple. On the back of this photo it says GRANGER AND YOUNG Photographers, 84 Owego street, Ithaca, N.Y.
The dress the woman's wearing looks so heavy! And the man looks really angry and like he's about to say something. His lips are slightly parted and he seems to be looking away, unlike the woman who's looking straight into the camera. See how she's pressing her teeth together. So focused and stiff!
The more I look at them I feel like the woman was a really sweet person but I'm not so sure about the man. Maybe he's just confused about something, haha.
The golden light is filling my apartment right now. Soon the light will be so bright I won't be able to see the computer screen unless I turn the blinds.
I have been cleaning and decluttering these last two days. It must be the spring, making me want to clean so badly. It's still a lot to do because it was so long overdue.
It feels really nice to be able to see the rooms again and not just the clutter.
I long for tulips on the kitchen table, open balcony doors (we have two) and the smells and sounds of spring time.
It won't be long now.

I mentioned in saturdays blog post that I was going to a big fleamarket on sunday and I thought I should show you what I found.
Two soup bowls that the seller bought in Paris. Glass marbles (to put into my Cage pendants). Two different glass decanters (I have a special project in mind for these. I'll show you all in time). The one in the front is a "Jungfru" (Maiden) designed by swedish designer Signe Persson-Melin. The back one is from IKEA's handmade line.
And then a purple dotted scarf. I love how it's so big for that kind of scarf. It's really hard to find and I'm always searching because I'm a scarf junkie as well as a porcelain junkie.
Wasn't supposed to buy more porcelain but these soup bowls were so pretty and too cheap to say no to. And they are excellent for tea as well (I tried that yesterday).
Lovely marbles! The larger ones are probably too big for necklace pendants but I'm sure I'll figure something out.
Love that there's handles on the sup bowls. So cute! By the way: In Sweden we call the cup handles ears. I just realised I don't know if that is the way you say it in english. Tried to google it but only found close up pictures of human ears. Gross.
What do you call the cup handle in your language? I'm curious!
I really look forward to seeing my project with these decanters come to life.

Oh yeah: David bought something too...
A rusty old axe!

He's one weird guy, my David. But not so weird.
He's planning on maybe using it as a prop in a scary movie.
I hope you're having a nice sunny tuesday. I'm off to meet a friend for lunch before work.
Wearing the purple scarf, actually.

By for now!
