Hej!
Sometimes time just goes and I realize I've been doing things and my blog hasn't felt it. I'm not even talking about you guys reading this because I know you won't care. But I don't want to hurt my blog's feelings, you know? Okay, maybe you don't know, but anywhoooo.
I was looking through my photos and thought 67 pics are probably like... 37... pics too many? So I tried to find a theme and when I couldn't do that I decided to make up a completely dumb theme and just roll with it.
So here it is: three things or places or stuff that happened maybe a month ago. I know, I know: I'm SO up to date here. But humor me, okay?
You remember when David and I were in San Francisco, right? The long drive there featured a bunch of truck stops in the middle of nowhere, and on one of them I decided to look around a little and maybe snap some photos.
I struck gold with this car cemetery in the desert!
AND it was also the home of a whole bunch of feral kittens!
I mean. That is Truck Stop Gold right there.
I also convinced David that we needed to take some jumping photos, so you could say I was happy already- not even close to San Francisco!
I actually really like driving places with David. Well, I don't drive because I don't have a driver's license (I KNOW!) but so often when we're going somewhere by car and we're in the middle of nowhere and there's music and just roads and we are in frickin' USA and life is so wonderful and I'm just STRUCK by this magical feeling of happiness and I don't even KNOW because it's not like it was any different the morning before but it's like the open road gives me perspective or something and yeah, this was one long ass sentence so I'll put a period on this now.
And our hotel in SF was old and decorated in a wonderfully freaky way. I mean, this photo is proof enough, right?
We had a wonderful couple of days in SF and it felt awesome to be able to stroll around in a city where it's more people than just me and the homeless out walking. (Seriously LA! The sidewalks are meant to walk on! Try it for once!)
Pretty view and loveydovey us.
Around easter my sister, her kids and their friend Rebecka came to visit us. I was so excited! Here I'm sitting and waiting and listening for sounds of a jet lagged bunch of Swedish people tumbling up the stairs.
It was so great to have them all here! I took them to all the great spots.
My niece Hilda- Already a star in Hollywood.
We went to LA Zoo of course!
And I took a selfie with a giraffe.
And we went to Santa Monica pier where it was windy as all hell.
Alfred running on the beach!
I took my sister, Sara, to UCB for a musical improv show that I love- and she of course loved it too!
When they had went back to Sweden again I felt a little like this. So tired. And the apartment was so quiet. And strange. And happy that it went so well- now we know they can come back many times!
The last thing/place/whatever is a Sunday hike to where they shot the tv series M*A*S*H. It was quite the long walk there and when we reached the spot it turned out to be the least exciting part of the entire hike.
But that doesn't mean it was boring because OMG this was a beautiful place!
I found an abundance of spooky trees, for one thing!
I climbed a few of them. And balanced high up and hoped that I wouldn't fall before the self timer had gone off so I at least would get a nice photo before I'd break all the bones in my body.
I didn't fall though. Surprising everybody (well, David), but mostly myself.
The mountains and green fuzzy hills give me so many creative ideas, you have NO idea.
Just like road trips with this guy makes me indescribably happy, seeing wondrous nature like this together makes me smile from ear to ear. It just smacks me in the head: the beautiful surroundings, the adventure, the love. And that's how you know it's kissing selfie time!

That was all from me today.
And, can we just pretend the theme was solid and perfect and you bought it completely? Okay? Thanks.

Hi!
I'm in serious vacation mode and can't understand how the days seem to be disappearing a whole lot faster than normally.
There HAVE been days though, the photos in my iPhone tells me so, and when looking through them today I thought it would be nice to take a little peek at what's been going on these past weeks.
Light testing in the Sandberg/Losten household looks a little bit like this.
One day my sister came to Gothenburg and we spent a big part of the afternoon in this park with flamingo showers. My niece and nephew are cuter than possible.
My new sunglasses arrived! The golden shades are a little bit too shiny but the black ones are fantastic.
My dear friend Fia who lives in South Africa is in Sweden visiting family and friends. She came to Gothenburg for a few days and it was absolutely wonderful to see her! Fia is the one in the middle, hugged by Kristin and me. The little cutey on the ground is Fia's daughter Moya.
Fia's husband Christo and little baby Moya again.
David helped me make my video for This Growing Collection. This is from the first of two days of filming, during the wonderful golden hour.
I worked hard on getting everything ready for launch last monday.
Took a break to catch the last rays of sunshine in my hair.
As a rule my hair seems to look the best when it's time to go to bed.
Here you can clearly see my anger and frustration at the entire situation.
Last week I cut my hair for the first time in about 15 months. It was about time.
As always the hairdresser insists on flattening my hair to the point of ridiculousness. It looks sort of nice in this photo but in real life it looks weird. Like I haven't got any hair at all. I have really thin hair but the natural waves makes it look a lot thicker and I just don't understand how hairdressers can't understand that flat and shiny is not always a good thing.
One morning we were out of coffee filters and I do what I always do when that happens (Yes, it's a reccuring thing).
Toilet paper!
I have the character Lelaina Pierce in the wonderful 90's movie Reality Bites to thank for this useful tip.
Yep, it works surprisingly well and only tastes a little papery...
And here's a glimpse of how it is to be married to David.
You'll get a drawing of a cat pushed under the door while you're on the toilet.
Who needs a cat when you can have a David?
The day after I released This Growing Collection was a slow and tired kind of day. Didn't do much more than take this self portrait.
David and I went to Österlen for a few days.
On our way to the family house we always drive through this wonderful beech forest. This time we decided to go back there to take some photos and explore a little.
What we found though was a fairytale forest right next to all the beech trees!
We loved it so much we had to go back the day after as well.
I got an idea during the night and the last thing I said to David before I fell asleep was "We need to go back to the forest again tomorrow!" So back we went.
I took a lot of photos and hopefully I can show them to you soon.
Both of these photos are taken with the self timer app TimerCam and edited with Snapseed.
An evening walk in a painting.
On saturday my mother, David and I went to the garden cafe Kaffestugan Alunbruket. Such a beautiful place!
Astor the cat was adorable as always.
On our last evening in Rörum for this time David and I took a walk through the little village and talked about creativity, film ideas and autumn arriving.
I can feel it in the air, summer is almost over. The best season is coming.

Hi!
A couple of weeks ago David and I went to Österlen for a week. We hadn't been to the house since spring so we were really excited to go!
We had a really nice week together with my parents, and as usual my camera was bursting with photos from this lovely place in the south of Sweden.
One day David had to stay home and work, but the rest of us went on a fleamarket trip.
There's so many fleamarkets/antique shops around Österlen in the summertime so you can just drive aimlessly for a while and you will find at least a couple of new ones you didn't know of before. Yes, it's heaven.
This place was a new find for us this summer. Lots of really cool furniture and stuff!
I bought two lampshades, one orange red and one dark green. I had to drag David to that place the day after as well because I knew he would like it too.
And look at that old slide!
After making some good vintage finds you'll need coffee!
We went to Backagården in Löderup.
David and I had been introduced to this place a couple of days earlier by some friends and I had to show my parents since you can't know of enough lovely coffee places.
Ahhh, what a wonderful place!
The pavlova tasted heavenly.
They had a yawny cat there.
He yawned a lot.
Beautiful place!
If you ever happen to be close to Löderup I recommend you to go to Backagården! Looks really dull and small from the outside but then you walk through a few rooms (it feels almost like I imagine walking through the wardrobe to Narnia) and end up in the wonderful green house and garden.
Couldn't get more summer-y than this, right?
After the coffee and cakes our energy levels were pumped for some more vintage shopping!
My dad looked through the place quickly and found a chair outside to check up on his emails or the latest news. The reception at our house is really bad so you kind of have to take the opportunity when it arrives.
The tiny dog to the right was the scariest little shit I've ever seen. It ran towards me with all it's teeth showing, growling. I have about ten photos of it doing some really weird poses were it's impossible to see how the legs are even connected to the body and, hm, where is the head anyway? Terrifying!
In the evening, when David had finished working, we went to Fridens gårdskrog, a pizzeria in the middle of nowhere. David was super excited! Pizza!
Such a cozy atmosphere.
Good looking husband.
Good looking pizza. Tapenad, brie and smoked chicken. So tasty!
And then some coffee after the food.
Back at the house Astor the cat looked good infront of the books.
One evening we sat in our garden and had a little barbeque.
When the golden hour came I took some photos of my dad with flowers behind his ears. I got this great idea in may of making a little photo book with men with flowers in and around their beards, well, now the internet seems to have exploded with flower beards and I feel kind of bummed out. I still want to go through with it though so I might show you some more photos soon.
David in the light.
The flowers ended up behind my ear as well.
My beautiful mother.
My lovely father.
Looking at birds? Who knows.

I have some more photos from Österlen to show you, of a little evening adventure David and I had. I'll be back with those soon.

Hope your week starts of with a really great monday.
Talk to you soon!

Hello!

Before this spring has run away from us completely I thought it would be nice to show some glimpses of what I've been up to while enjoying the wonderful season.
Theatre reheasals with Teater Esther usually happens in a very cold house but since we are in the beginning of our new production we could read our play on the grass one beautiful evening. This year we are making our own play for the first time and our director Frida has been the one writing it. This particular evening we read the complete play from start to finish for the very first time and it felt wonderful! This is going to be so much fun!
From left to right. Frida, Matilda and Lisa.
Hanna.
When it was time to say goodbye the sun had set beautifully behind the trees and bushes.
It was one of those evenings when you walk home completely giddy with feelings of anticipation and joy.
At the end of April it was Beckas birthday! She is one of my best friends and we've known eachother for a very long time.
As you can see she got a Lime Leaf necklace pendant from my new Leaf Collection. She's the only one who owns one of these yet so consider this is a little sneak peek of what's to come in my shop soon.
Picnic on the top of the park Redbergsparken with this amazing view was such a perfect way to celebrate a spring birthday.
Improvised table for a wine glass...
The most tasty chocolate mint cake ever.
Last saturday I met up with my sister Sara who was in town over the weekend with her kids Hilda and Alfred. The teddy bear got to ride on Hilda's shoulders when we went to a fleamarket.
Hot dog lunch break after some great fleamarket shopping.
On the tram back into town. Teddy had injured an arm, Hilda comforts him.
And one evening David and I ate thai food at a restaurant that almost made us feel like we surely must have left Sweden for Thailand.
Oh, and a quick reminder that today is the last day to use coupon code SPRINGTIME14 over at lottalosten.etsy.com for 15% off your entire order! Hop on over and snag yourself something pretty!

Today David and I are going to the theatre to watch the new Godzilla movie. Yesterday I heard so many people say it's utter crap so my expectations are not very high (more like below the lowest of low). But it's always nice to sit in the dark theatre holding hands with David, and the walk to and from the theatre always seem to inspire interesting and fun conversations so I'm at least going to enjoy that.

Hope your thursday is a great one too.

Tjingeling!
